Recently, Mountain View-based software giant Google announced plans to kill its Google Reader service in July this year, and many users have already switched to another RSS feed service, namely Feedly.

Given the flood of new users, the team behind Feedly decided to expand its availability to various platforms out there, and also confirmed the upcoming availability of BlackBerry 10 and Windows Phone 8 applications.

According to a recent article on Neowin, Feedly's Cyril Moutran, head of product and strategy, confirmed that both applications “have been requested by users, and are in our plans.”

No specific release date has been provided as of now, yet the next few months might bring some more light on the matter, especially if the team plans on launching these mobile clients before Google Reader goes down.
