New artwork is being made for Fedora 10

Although Fedora 9 is still under development, plans for Fedora 10 are being made. The Art Team is trying to create the theme for Fedora 10, and two concepts have been introduced: Gears and Blue Fire. Gears uses a steampunk aspect, with clocks, gears and, of course, Steam-powered engines. Blue Fire is a simple theme, that goes around the concept of... blue fire.

Karlie Robinson announced that efforts are made to bring Fedora into libraries, with the help of the Public Software Foundation.

Jeffrey Tadlock announced on the Fedora Ambassadors mailing list a push for global Fedora 9 release parties: "The Fedora 9 release is approaching quickly with a currently scheduled release date of April 29th. Now it is time to organize your Fedora 9 Release Party! Organizing a release party in your local area is a great way to contribute as an ambassador. Even if you have never organized an event before, this is your chance!"

The FLSCo elections period was moved to 22-29 April, and the nominations were extended until 21st April. Dimitris Glezos pointed this out on the Fedora Translation Project mailing list:As pointed out by the Infrastructure group, the voting system used by Fedora will require some more work in order to be usable for our elections (mainly to work with FAS2). We're expecting it to be ready on Tuesday 22/4. This means we'll be moving the election period for FLSCo to 22-29/4. So, 8 more days for folks who'd like to put their nominations in!"
