Sulphur! This is the codename of the new version of Fedora Linux operating
system, which will be available somewhere at the end of April (or middle May) 2008. Sulphur won the elections with 62 votes! The elections for the F9 codename started on January 16th and ended two days ago, January 26th, 2008. Other possible codenames were: Bathysphere, Chupacabra, Mayonnaise, Dragicorn, Woodwose, Tourette, Asperger, Barmanou, Chingachgook, Kingsport Town and Marfan. The first alpha release of Fedora 9 will be available on Thursday, January 31st.
