14 DAY TRIAL // Korora, a Fedora Remix distribution with tweaks and extras to make the system “just work” out of the box, which aims to provide a complete and easy-to-use system for general computing, is now at version 18 Beta.
Korora 18 comes in several flavors for both the KDE and the GNOME desktops. It comes with a few default applications such as Adobe Flash, Google Chrome, Google Earth, RPMFusion, and VirtualBox.
Highlights of Korora 18 Beta:
• Experimental support for Valve’s Steam client has been added; • unburden-home-dir, which moves cache files (like in Firefox profiles) onto RAMFS at login, has been added; • undistract-me, which pops up a GUI notification when a terminal command has completed, has been added;
The developers have also assured users that it's possible to update from Kororaa 17 to Korora 18, thanks to Fedora’s FedUp tool.
