The Fedora Project has announced that its Fedora 20 Beta “Heisenbug” Linux distribution has just passed the final change freeze.

After a few delays and small problems, the developers from the Fedora Project have managed to keep the schedule and pass this important stage of development. This means that Fedora 20 is almost out the door.

“The Fedora 20 schedule states the Final change freeze is upon us. As of now only updates that fix an accepted Final Blocker bug or Freeze exception will be allowed in. We are at the post beta stage of release, so the Pre-release stage of the updates policy applies,” said Kevin Fenzi on the official mailing list.

You can download Fedora 20 Beta right now from Softpedia.

Remember that this is a development version and it should NOT be installed on production machines. It is intended for testing purposes only.
