The Fedora Project has announced that Fedora 18 “Spherical Cow” will reach end of life in January and that updates will no longer be provided.

Fedora 18 Spherical Cow was released almost a year ago and the developers from the Fedora Project have announced that the distribution is done for.

“This is a reminder email about the end of life process for Fedora 18. Fedora 18 will reach end of life on 2014-01-14, and no further updates will be pushed out after that time. Additionally, with the recent release of Fedora 20, no new packages will be added to the Fedora 18 collection,” states the official announcement.

You can download the new Fedora 20 “Heisenbug” Linux distribution right now from Softpedia, or you can switch to the older Fedora 19.
