Users are asked to participate and find a proper name for the next Fedora OS

Robyn Bergeron, the recent appointed leader of the Fedora Project, has announced that users are now asked to propose names for the next edition of Fedora, after the launch of Fedora 17 “Beefy Miracle”.

As names go, the proposals from the Fedora community have always been weird. In any case, name submissions have started today, March 20th, and are expected to end on March 27th, at 23:59:59 UTC.

There are three rules that need to be followed, as explained by Robyn Bergeron:

· There must be an "is-a" link between the name "Beefy Miracle" (the name of Fedora 17) and your suggested name; · That link must be different from any previous links between release names; · Names of living people and well-known trademarks will likely be rejected as well.

There have been made some proposals already, as we can see on the Fedora wiki official website, just to name a few: Tandoori Chicken, Frozen Wave, Mutton Biryani, Cosmonaut Volkov, and my personal favorite so far, Joey Joe Joe Jr. Shabadoo.
