Starting this month, 10 new all-electric vehicles owned by FedEx Express are to be driven up and down the streets of Hong Kong.

Information shared with the public says that this green-oriented fleet is the first of its kind for the company's Asia Pacific branch.

Due to their running on electricity, the vehicles are labeled as zero-emission ones, Environmental Leader says.

It appears that FedEx' decision to purchase these vehicles and use them to carry on with its working agenda in Hong Kong has everything to do with the company's wish to green up its ways.

Thus, FedEx Express already owns an impressive 650 delivery vehicles that run on alternative and environmentally friendly energy sources, and plans on buying a total of 200 all-electric cars before the 2013 fiscal year comes to an end.
