As a result of some deductions, the first supposed leaked image of the gPhone has surfaced. In fact, it's a Chinese handset coming from a producer that Google chose to partner with in order to work on mobile phone hardware development.

Latests rumors state that
Google will work with Chinese company e28 in order to manufacture handsets. That means that the gPhone that everybody is waiting for so eagerly will be "Made in China". It might get them out of the situation pretty cheap and with few productivity issues. Still, many people prove to be reluctant when it comes to the quality of the products made here.

The good thing about this possibility is that e28 will put a mark mostly on the productivity side. It's very unlikely that they will contribute to the handset's design, which should sound like great news that will lead to better design that will appeal to people outside Asia as well. There's no question about it that such an appearance could be appreciated by some, but looks very far from the modern and stylish alternatives that producers from other countries can develop.

The image that everyone has presented as being the first one of the much anticipated gPhone is actually one of the latest smartphones coming from e28. In fact, the origin of the rumors made it clear that the picture only serves as an example of what Google's potential new partner is capable of designing. It's a long way to go from this to actually claiming that the first image of the gPhone has surfaced.

Other rumors stated that Google's phone should be announced sometime during the next few weeks. The same was said about a month ago, as this precise time prediction must sound like the most exciting. There are few chances that the gPhone will be unveiled within this time span, although Google has surely managed to make some considerable progresses in the meanwhile.
