New idea of a search engine

Google is the best search engine on the web. That's for sure. But numerous other technologies are created with only one thing in mind: to compete with Google and provide an alternative to the famous search technology. Sure, many of them are really powerful but they didn't have a chance to become famous. So here is FaveBot, an interesting technology which cannot be considered a Google rival but it is surely a search engine alternative.

FaveBot is special and you'll understand it just after you start using it. How can it do? It's simple, it tracks your keyword, creating a continuously growing up list of results coming from blogs, books, DVDs, events, music, news, pics, pods and videos. The information is provided in a nice looking interface which helps you find exactly what you were looking for.

"FaveBot enables you to continuously discover new content and/or events matching your interests. Other things you may want to track include your favorite college & pro sports teams / athletes, hobbies, politicians, stocks/companies in your portolio, whatever topic(s) you blog about," it is mentioned on the official website of FaveBot.

The bad part of the service is that you have to register for an account before you start discovering but the registration process takes only a second. There's no need to provide an email or to confirm it as FaveBot requires only a username and password.

There's not much to say about FaveBot because you should give it a try to see that it can be really useful if you want to track a certain keyword. Sure, it can be used on a daily basis because it takes a while until you search the Internet but I already stated that it's not a Google alternative for all the users.
