Mitch Winehouse confirms Amy has recently undergone breast-augmentation surgical intervention

Singer Amy Winehouse is on the path to recovery and on her way to making her comeback to the music scene, her father, Mitch Winehouse, tells the British media. After a very dark and troubled period, the hitmaker is finally doing well, and these changes for the better are apparent both on the inside and on the outside, Mitch reveals, as cited by People magazine.

Not only is Amy not doing drugs anymore, but she’s also done a thing or two to improve her appearance and fix that which many years of substance abuse and not paying due attention to herself have ruined. The “Back to Black” hitmaker has had a breast job, her father confirms in a recent interview, thus confirming ongoing speculation in the media. Thanks to it, among other things, she now looks and feels many times better, Mitch Winehouse dishes.

“Amy Winehouse is a completely different person from who she was this time last year, her father says. The singer, 26, is doing well both inside and out – and that includes her recent breast enhancement. On Wednesday, Mitch Winehouse told British TV show This Morning that his daughter is, ‘Fantastic, fantastic. Her [breasts] are great as well.’ He then smiled and said, ‘I shouldn’t have said that should I? She looks absolutely fantastic.’” People magazine writes.

Since the cat was already out of the bag, the interviewer also asked Mitch whether reports of Amy taking $56,000 out of her pocket for the intervention were accurate, to which he responded by saying, in more or less words that, if they were, they were no business of his. Had he have to pay for the surgical intervention, then he would have known how much it cost, but, this time, he didn’t have to pay a single pound. Which is somewhat out of the ordinary, Mitch continues, since every time Amy sees him she asks him for money. This time, though, she did not require any assistance in the financial department, which means the cost of the surgery is not his business.

Augmentation or no augmentation, Amy is on the right path, her father assures the interviewer. There are still obstacles along the way, of course, but at least she’s heading in the right direction. “There is no total recovery. It’s a recovery. It’s a slow, gradual recovery. If you look back to where we were a year ago, you know we are in a different planet. We are in a different space and a different time and a different person. We all are. We’re all recovering.” Mitch adds.
