In the middle of the 22nd century mankind's thirst for excitement has spawned an evolutionary sporting event that draws from the combined disciplines of rally racing, demolition derby and high-performance aeronautics. In this brave new world of combat racing, gravity-defying machines are no longer confined to the speedways and stadiums of centuries past. In this grand spectacle of racing, the place where drivers must prove their superiority is the untamed wilderness.

Through harsh environments spanning dense rainforests to immense glacier fields, and canyons of razor-sharp rock there is little room for error as drivers will reach speeds of over 500 mph. But Fatal Inertia is not merely a test of speed. The brave men and women who choose to compete must face the mental and physical punishment of low-altitude combat maneuvering.

100 - Wins (30) - Win 100 or more events.

1000 Combat Points (20) - Score 1000 or more combat points in a single event.

200 - Wins (40) - Win 200 or more events.

36 Second Time Trial (20) - Finish a Time Trial on any course in 36 seconds or less.

50 Second Time Trial (10) - Finish a Time Trial on any course in 50 seconds or less.

50 - Wins (20) - Win 50 or more events.

600 Combat Points (10) - Score 600 or more combat points in a single event.

Armageddon Series Gold (20) - Get first place in the Armageddon Series.

Armageddon Series II Gold (30) - Get first place in the Armageddon Series II.

Aurora Master (10) - Win 10 races with an Aurora class racecraft.

Cardinal Series Gold (10) - Get first place in the Cardinal Series.

Cardinal Series II Gold (20) - Get first place in the Cardinal Series II.

Cardinal Series III Gold (30) - Get first place in the Cardinal Series III.

Combat Race Master (20) - Win 20 Combat Race events.

Connect 2 Opponents (10) - Using the primary fire of the Cable, attach two opponents together.

Demolition Series Gold (20) - Get first place in the Demolition Series.

Destroy An Opponent (10) - Destroy an opponent during an event.

Destructor (20) - Destroy 3 opponents in a single event.

Perfect Start (10) - Perfectly time a brake-boost at the start of a race to - Get maximum acceleration.

Perfectionist (40) - Get 40 points in every series in your career.

Phoenix Master (10) - Win 10 races with a Phoenix class racecraft.

Prodigy Series Gold (30) - Get first place in the Prodigy Series.

Remove Magnets (10) - Using a single brake-boost, knock 10 or more magnets off your craft.

Remove Rockets (10) - Using a brake-boost, knock an attached rocket off your craft.

Remove Weapons By Rolling (10) - Do a barrel-roll to remove an attached weapon.
