Philips knows the art of seduction. How do I know? Well for instance, it is enough to check out its latest Aurea television range. Now, I don't really know whether they were thinking about the Italian automobile or about the flowers. Either way sounds cool to me!

Apparently, women nowadays get far much satisfaction from the latest plasmas on the market, rather than from precious pink diamonds, fact which is not bad at all, just a little bit awkward. Anyway, regarding Philips's attempt to seduce women, I'd say its tricks went fine on me, as I think the Ambilight range is probably the most appealing to the female consumers worldwide. I mean, how can you resist a mysterious glow emitted from the beautiful frame of the TV itself.

Just like the fellows from Shiny Shiny said, this image displaying method is not only art-piece like, but also great for your eyes, as you'll be less stressed by the pronounced difference between the light on the TV screen and the surrounding area. Besides that, the device's colors are said to change according to what's exactly on the screen. The result is a realistic and most of all lovely image, the kind you get to see when you're in love.

Let's take a look at the wide screen flat TV with pixel plus 3HD and Ambilight full surround system of 42". This baby is said to be capable of delivering home cinema experience. It features the integrated LCD technology and it would be an insult to call it a TV, since it's mush more than that: a digital media reader with PC link that can give its owner access to plenty of multimedia content. Not to mention it looks very sexy on the wall.

What's more about it that makes it so special? Well, besides its clear LCD WXGA 1366 x 768 with 3ms response for extreme motion sharpness, it comes with a built-in digital tuner for DVB-T reception and a HD that's ready to deliver HDTV images.

As for its audio performances, the device sports a compact lambda 4 subwoofer technology, meaning powerful deep bass that is going to make you screem when watching "Die hard". Not to mention it is USB equipped.

Overall, having one of these is just like being into a romantic relationship, no strings attached. Or maybe just a spicy price tag around 2500 bucks. Ouch, love hurts!
