Fashionable 'Mac Bag' for Future MacBook Air Owners

- Waxed cotton, felt lining, and plastic & rubber cord

By: Filip Truta, Apple News Editor

With the MacBook Air on its way to everyone who's pre-ordered it, laptop bag/case manufacturers have their hands full. Everyone is offering one or more bags trying to fit the taste of a (future) wide Air userbase. This week, we're introduced to the Mac bag, crafted by Michael Leung (designer). It is probably the best looking laptop bag to date.

Not only is it made of waxed cotton, not allowing a single droplet of water in, but it's
downright fashionable too: "The shiniest new fruit of Apple's loins, the Macbook Air, and its ability to fit into a manila envelope directly inspired this carrying case design by London-based designer Michael Leung. The Mac bag is water resistant and constructed with waxed cotton, felt lining, and plastic & rubber cord," core77.com reveals.

Studio Leung basically describes the Mac bag as an everyday water-resistant bag that borrows details from the manila envelope. Its measurements are 34.5 x 24.7 x 22 mm. But Leung doesn't just deal with bags. The designer does a pretty good job at creating other useful accessories – and not just for electronics, but for your whole house.

How about a 2nd pillow case? (initial prototype, American Apparel, OOF, 2007). A T-shirt that doubles as an emergency pillow case for the unexpected guest. S, M, L - 100% combed cotton. No? Didn't think much about it either, but something like this has got to come in handy at least once in a lifetime (and probably when you're most desperate).

A cloud sponge perhaps? (165 x 98 x 50 mm - PU foam). This suddenly becomes a good choice when the upper-mentioned unexpected guest is female. Eh... We should just stick to technology topics.

The Hardwood USB looks pretty neat! It should go wonderfully with the MacBook Air. Add the Mac bag to cart and you're all set! What do you think?
