With the demise of comedienne Joan Rivers, many began to question the future of her successful TV show “Fashion Police.” It was rumored that the E! Network was ready to pull the plug since Joan was such a big part of the show.

The series, which gave a light-hearted review on celebrity fashion, is now confirmed to move forward without Joan. A statement from E! claims that “We are deeply saddened by the loss of Joan Rivers and, for the last two weeks, have turned our attention to honouring her memory on all of our platforms.”

The network explains its decision to continue the show thusly, “We decided, with Melissa Rivers's blessing, that Joan would have wanted the franchise to continue. Fashion Police will return in 2015, commencing with Golden Globes coverage on Monday, January 12.”

The show will now be hosted by Giuliana Rancic, George Kotsiopoulos and Kelly Osbourne. It was previously rumored that Melissa Rivers, Joan's daughter was going to take her mother's place on the show, since she acts as producer, but it seems that Melissa is content to remain behind the cameras.

As the statement said, expect Fashion Police to return to TV at the same time as the Golden Globes, on January 12, next year.
