14 DAY TRIAL // At the Hollywood premiere of the latest women comedy “He’s Just Not That Into You,” looking fabulous was the rule of the night. With such a stunning female cast, it’s no wonder that the actresses present at the event wanted to really make an impression. Of the lot, Scarlett Johansson and Jennifer Aniston were perhaps the most exquisitely dressed, people in the industry are saying.
The cast also included, Scarlett and Jennifer excluded, Drew Barrymore, Jennifer Connelly and Ginnifer Goodwin, but it was the first two that really managed to create a sensation on the red carpet.
Scarlett, for one, looked “springtastic” in a flowery dress and new brunette hairdo, while Aniston was the epitome of pure elegance in a trouser black suit and dazzling accessories. Johansson, whose husband chose to stay out of the spotlight for the night, looked absolutely superb in an Oscar de la Renta long flowery gown, which hugged her body and put her enviable figure in the best of lights.
With such an adorned apparel, she wisely chose to pass on jewelry, this way having the media focus solely on the dress and the new ‘do. Speaking of which, the actress refused to say why she chose to ditch her trademark blonde locks, pointing out simply that it was a woman’s prerogative to “constantly surprise.”
Jennifer Aniston, on the other hand, while not being as colorfully stunning as Scarlett, still managed to get quite a few appraisal looks. Dressed in a black Burberry trouser suit, the former “Friends” star was the very picture of elegance and class. For a dash of color, she matched the suit with heavy gold necklaces and a beautiful oversized ring, while playing it small on the purse side with a grey clutch.
With her hair up in a ponytail, Aniston, despite looking as if about to head to a job interview, managed to stay true to the style she had developed throughout the years, while also making for a very enchanting presence on the red carpet.
“He’s Just Not That Into You” deals with the story of a group of women whose main occupation is to try to interpret what men are thinking. So far, it has gotten nothing but positive reviews, so keep an eye out for when it arrives in a theater near you.
