Kristen Stewart has always been and, as per her own words, will always be a tomboy in style. She favors jeans and sneakers and plain t-shirts, so she's been branded a designer's worst nightmare, according to a new report. The
Daily Mail writes that, following the media storm for the promotion of “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1,” household designers have made up their mind about not wanting to dress Kristen ever again.
According to the tab, they refer to her as to a “fashion pariah” because the association of her name with theirs, given the way she dresses in normal life, would not be beneficial.
“Celebrity stylists have apparently rejected Twi-hards' darling because she favors casual clothes – even describing her as a 'fashion pariah',” the British tab writes.
“She famously changes out of her heels and into trainers to sign autographs, and unlike many other celebrities is happy to leave the house in scruffy clothes and with no make-up on,” adds the same publication.
An unnamed source says that all the big names in the fashion world no longer want to send their clothes to Stewart's people for her to wear on the red carpet, which would mean she'll be having serious trouble getting something decent to wear at upcoming events.
“She has grubby nails, ratty sneakers and bad attitude. Very few people want to work with her because she doesn’t want to look good,” the spy is quoted as saying.
On the other hand, this could be a gross exaggeration: after all, during the promo tour for the latest “Twilight” film, Kristen wore some huge names on the red carpet and, even if she changed into sneakers after posing for pictures,
she still looked fab.
“She frequently appears on best-dressed lists and has worn everyone from Chanel to Alexander McQueen,” the Mail writes, also noting that Kristen is not actually out of sartorial options.
“Top designers Oscar de la Renta, Marchesa, Elie Saab, Herve Leger, Dolce & Gabbana, Proenza Schouler and Roland Mouret have all recently dressed the actress,” the publication further says.
