With millions of animals being killed in the US alone on a yearly basis in order to support the country's food industry, it comes as no surprise that animal rights activists are doing everything in their power to put an end to these practices and urge people to opt for veganism.

Thus, the Farm Sanctuary organization now teamed up with fashion designer John Bartlett, who is expected to launch a limited-edition T-shirt collection aimed at putting an end to the killing of animals for food.

His black T-shirts have the picture of a chicken, a cow or a pig imprinted on the front and are expected to sell for about $40 (€32.28) each. As John Bartlett explains, 10% of the money made in this manner will be donated to the Farm Sanctuary.

From where we stand, although “The Ambassador Collection” might raise some awareness with respect to the need to pay more attention to animal rights, it is quite unlikely that these T-shirts will determine US’ citizens to change their dietary habits.
