Farrah Abraham might be one of the most ridiculed and, at the same time, controversial reality stars to come out of MTV, but she seems to have found a way to capitalize on scandal and continue making a profit. This summer, her fans will be treated to the first of a series of fictional books.

Of course, the fans know already that Abraham isn’t new at writing, coming out with “My Teenage Dream Ended,” an autobiographical work that came with an audio companion: a pop album by the same name, deemed by critics the most atrocious thing to have ever happened to pop music, Rebeca Black included.

The book ended up on the 11th position of the New York Times best-seller list, so Abraham is probably thinking she can replicate its success with a new endeavor.

However, this is the first time she tries her hand at fictional writing. Make that “fictional” because, from what the publisher tells Radar Online, the story will revolve around a fictional character named Fallon Opal, who is a reality star.

The new series of books will bank on the current demand for adult writing, which started with E.L. James’ “Fifty Shades of Grey” trilogy, which actually started like “Twilight” fan-fiction and turned into a worldwide phenomenon. In other words, don’t leave the books around the kids, if you’re thinking of purchasing them.

“In The Making reveals the truth about ‘being in the limelight’ as a young celebrity. Writing this series was like therapy for me. Fallon’s story follows what I’ve gone through recently, much of it witnessed and misunderstood by the public,” Farrah explains.

The books will offer readers an insight into her life, ironically through the creation of a fictional character, because they will ultimately serve illustrate “the underside of being a reality TV star that everyone else can relate to.”

“The books are based on Farrah’s true feelings about what she went through. I think readers will be surprised to find out who Farrah really is and what a great character she has developed with Fallon Opalm,” Patty Marks, Ellora’s Cave CEO, says for Radar.

The first installment in the new series goes on sale on Amazon this July but it’s already available for pre-order. Abraham might be controversial and apparently universally hated for a variety of reasons, but one thing she’s very good at is keeping us all on our toes, coming back for more juicy details from her life. In other words, her new book will probably be a smashing hit.
