The top three Facebook game Farm Heroes Saga, which was released back in March 2013, has just been ported on mobile platforms. Developed by King, the game was officially announced in late December with the promise that it would go live early this year.
True to its promise, King, the creator of the amazingly popular Candy Crush Saga, has recently announced that its new title Farm Heroes Saga is now available on both Android and iOS platforms.
According to developers, Farm Heroes Saga follows the same successful match-3 puzzle game mechanics specific to Candy Crush Saga and adds a few new tweaks and improvements.
“Additional gameplay elements include rechargeable boosters and regular challenging ‘Boss’ battles where players take on the evil ‘Rancid the Raccoon’ who is attempting to spoil the peaceful nature of the farm.”
Farm Heroes Saga features only 100 levels at launch, but King promises that more levels will be added in the not so distant future via free updates.
Obviously, Candy Crush Saga addicts will progress through the 100 levels of Farm Heroes Saga quickly, but at least they won’t have to wait too long for their favorite game to receive a new update.
It is also worth mentioning that Farm Heroes Saga on mobile will seamlessly synchronize with Facebook, which means that players can advance, unlock new levels and access leaderboards while on the go, without losing any of their progress.
“Ever since we first launched the original installment of Farm Heroes Saga on Facebook, the mobile version has been one of our community's most requested titles.
“We hope that its snackable nature and rewarding progression system will prove to be as much of a hit with mobile players as it has been with our Facebook fans. We look forward to welcoming new players down to the farm!” said Tommy Palm, Games Guru at King.
You can now download Farm Heroes Saga for Android for free via Softpedia. Keep in mind that the game should be fully compatible with all devices powered by Android 2.2 and up.
