Steve and Lorna Binning want to prepare chips out of “Spud”

Farmers in the UK have been baffled to discover a potato shaped like a sheep this year. Steve and Lorna Binning live in Wells, England, and they have come across the odd-looking potato while checking on this week's crop.

They tell the Wells Journal that they can make out a sheep's eyes, ears and everything. This is so unusual, that they have even named the oddly shaped potato. They are now calling it “Spud,” but they won't keep it around for long.

“We’ll probably chip it,” Lorna says.

“We’ve had the allotment for about eight years but we’ve never seen anything like this before,” Steve adds.

If I were to compare the potato to any animal, I have to say that it reminds me of a mouse more than it does a sheep. Leave me your opinion in the comments section.
