14 DAY TRIAL // FarmVille 2: Country Escape is now the top free download in the U.S. App Store, featuring some goodies and a handful of fixes. The game is packed to the rafters with micro-transactions, so keep it away from the kids, or at least carefully monitor their in-app purchases.
FarmVille 2: Country Escape is basically a mobile-optimized FarmVille for iDevices. The game is localized in over a dozen different languages and works on all iOS devices currently in circulation.
“It’s FarmVille tailored for you and the way you want to play. Best of all, it’s free!” says Zynga, the renowned mobile apps developer.
Players can farm at their own pace or play with friends, including in Anonymous Mode, which doesn’t require Facebook. However, in case you do want to connect with Facebook, now you can.
“You'll be happy to know that we've made some exciting improvements to your farm,” the developer said today. Users can connect to Facebook and “farm with friends instead of waiting to connect,” as per the release notes.
Any reported game crashes should be fixed, according to Zynga, though something tells me some old-gen device owners will continue to report issues. Download FarmVille 2: Country Escape on any iOS 5.1 device and have a blast!
