14 DAY TRIAL // Developer and publisher Ubisoft has just announced that pre-orders for the Far Cry 4 Ultimate Kyrat Edition are now open.
In Far Cry 4, players find themselves immersed into a war-torn Kyrat, a perilous and breathtaking region of the Himalayas. The country is struggling under the despotic rule of a self-appointed dictator, Pagan Min, and players have to make their way to safety or dive head-first into the action, employing an extensive arsenal of weaponry in the course of writing their own story in the rich open world.
Far Cry 4 Kyrat Edition is touted as the definitive fan package, and boasts all the items found in the Kyrat Edition and in the Limited Edition, as well as the Season Pass that will enable purchasers to get access to any and all upcoming donwloadable content for the first-person shooter.
The bundle includes Hurk's Redemption, three single-player missions featuring Hurk, a popular character from Far Cry 3, along with his exclusive whale hunting harpoon gun, The Impaler.
The extra missions account for around an hour of gameplay, the first one having you fight some dangerous enemies in the ice caves of some snow-covered mountains in order to retrieve an ancient artifact, the second one challenging you with fighting wave upon wave of enemies while riding a strange vehicle, and the final one delivering an epic conclusion, where you are tasked with chasing down an enemy convoy in order to save Hurk from certain doom.
The package also comes with a sweet 20cm figurine depicting Pagan Min, the game's main villain, sitting on a stone elephant throne, a Pagan Min propaganda poster, the game map, and a travel journal that players can use to record their own adventures.
The offer also includes the Far Cry 4 Season Pass, the exclusive future pack Metal Box, and an exclusive collector's case, all of them uPlay exclusive items. In addition to this, pre-ordering the package through Uplay also adds a nice Driller Machine Gun to the offer.

Far Cry 4 is currently scheduled for release on November 18 in North America and November 21 in Europe, for the PC, the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 computer entertainment systems from Sony, and the Xbox 360 and Xbox One consoles from Microsoft.
