Fantasy Isle Brought to Lineage II

- NCsoft brings a huge amusement park to the game

By: Calin Ciabai, Games Editor

For the hardcore fans of Lineage II, it seems that only PvP battles and castle sieges matter lately, but NCsoft plans to change things around: they have announced the introduction of a new area in the game world, an area that initially doesn't seem to fit the game at all. Ladies and gentlemen,
enjoy the Lineage II: The Chaotic Throne - Hellbound Fantasy Isle!

This new area is a peace zone (only special areas like the Underground Coliseum allow fighting), designed especially to improve the social part of the game. Basically a giant amusement park, the Fantasy Isle is completely different from what you're used to see in Aden or Elmore – it features bright colors, cute little peaceful creatures and, no matter where you go, you'll feel relaxed and amused.

However, since Lineage II is a MMORPG where fighting against other people and monsters is the main thing to do, the Fantasy Isle also features the Underground Coliseum, which allows team deathmatches to be played in a sort of huge tournament that promises to be really exciting for everybody taking part in it. With four different coliseums available for players all levels, and one for everybody, this not only adds a bit of diversity to the traditional gameplay of Lineage II, but also an extra reason to appreciate Hellbound as an entirely new blasting experience.

Four times a day, the Fantasy Isle will also feature the Monster Parade, being a procession of each type of NPC in the game, basically showing gamers the diversity of NPCs from Aden and Elmore. Some of these characters will also take part in random circus activities or talent shows, so it will definitely be a fun way to spend your time. And even though we could say that a brand new little world has already found its way to Lineage II, NCsoft promises that they still have more in store for Fantasy Isle, so stay tuned with Softpedia to find out the latest details!
