She's innocent-looking and yet fully able to do meaner roles as well, fans believe

The “Fifty Shades of Grey” movie has come to replace “Twilight” in terms of the anticipation and hype that surrounds it. While the project is still in the very early stages of pre-production, fans are literally dying to have the two leads cast already.

Their latest idea, according to a report in BookNReview, is that Emilia Clarke of “Game of Thrones” would be ideal for the role of Anastasia Steele from E.L. James' best-selling trilogy.

She's both innocent-looking and able of doing fierce and mean, which would mean she'd be the perfect partner for the racy Christian Grey.

Moreover, she's also not against doing more intimate and / or revealing scenes, as the first season of “Game of Thrones” has already confirmed. On the HBO series, Clarke plays the Mother of Dragons, Daenerys of the House Targaryen, the last of her kind. She starts off as innocent and ignorant of the ways of the world, but grows into a strong, determined woman who will stop at nothing to do what’s right.

Daenerys’ story doesn’t really have a lot in common with Anastasia’s, but Clarke has shown considerable acting chops, so that makes her a good casting choice in the eyes of the fans.

Last we heard anything about the film, Emma Watson was considered “frontrunner” for the part. She will probably pass on the offer: “Fifty Shades of Grey” will turn out to be a mess of a film, based on the source material, and Emma is into heavier, more serious stuff than cinematographic releases of this type.
