Pete Doherty is admittedly the rocker with the most arrests and the less convictions in recent times. It seems that, these days, every time he goes abroad, he gets into some sort of trouble and a recent visit to Moscow for a private gig was no exception, the Daily Star reports. As police are looking for him for questioning in the case of the death of the Goldsmith heiress, the rocker performed in Moscow – and had fans throw bagels at him.

The heiress was found dead in a London hotel suite a few days ago, shortly after getting into a very heavy dispute with Doherty, which is why authorities are now looking for him to ask him a couple of questions. In the meantime, the rocker took his Babyshambles band to Moscow to perform at a hotspot club, with guests like Chelsea Football Club owner Roman Abramovich and tickets going for as much as £1,000+ a pop.

Things didn’t go as planned, though: first of all, Doherty was almost 90 minutes late, which made many of his fans leave even before he got on stage, while others walked out in the first minutes of the set. Those who stayed behind made sure they expressed their disapproval at his behavior by throwing bagels at him on the stage, with reports saying one hit him on the shoulder, while another fell on the floor at his feet. Doherty didn’t seem to mind it that much, even picking up that last bagel and eating it off the floor.

“Doherty looked ‘subdued’ on stage and kept his eyes closed, delivering many songs while sitting down on a step and drinking from a can of Guinness. One fan said: ‘He had his eyes shut and an expressionless and vacant look on his face.’ After the gig, Doherty threw vodka into the face of a female journalist who quizzed him about Robyn [Whitehead]’s death. Meanwhile, his pal Peter ‘Wolfman’ Wolfe, 41, could be questioned by police again after apparently changing his account of how she died,” the Daily Star further writes of the Russian gig.

Apparently, Whitehead was doing a film and a book on Pete Doherty, his work with the Libertines and then the Babyshambles, as well as his long and well documented addiction to illegal substances. Reports say Doherty was not at all happy about how the two projects were coming along, which is why he went to visit Whitehead hours before her death, and why they got into a fight.
