Kim Kardashian is set to make her acting debut in a supporting role in Tyler Perry's upcoming film, a part that, she hopes, will launch her acting career. The problem is fans are so upset with what she's done, they're threatening to boycott the entire film because of her.

After just 72 days of being married to Kris Humphries, Kim announced she had filed for divorce because the relationship wasn't working out as she imaged it would.

She also canceled all previous work engagements, with various reports saying she was planning on taking some time off from work to mend her reported broken heart.

One commitment that she still planned to honor was doing the Tyler Perry movie but, as PageSix informs, fans don't want to see her in it.

“Some fans of Tyler Perry aren't supportive of her appearance in the movie. According to reports, the film is about a relationship expert named Judith who cheats on her husband. The curvy Kardashian plays Ava, Judith's coworker,” the e-zine writes.

“But fans have started to leave angry messages on Perry's website over his decision to keep Kardashian in the flick,” PageSix further writes.

One user points out that watching the movie, ironically called “The Marriage Counselor,” would equate supporting Kim Kardashian and her attention-grabbing ways, and that's the last thing she wants to do.

“I have always admired Tyler Perry and the love he shows for women – via film. Having said that, as a consumer I also have a decision to make. I will not support this movie. K. Kardashian may be a wonderful woman ( I don't know her) but this is a decision I can't support,” the fan wrote on one of Perry's fansites.

“Kim Kardashian... really? Come on man!” added another.

Regardless of criticism and backlash from the fans, Perry is sticking with his decision to have Kardashian in the film, saying nothing has changed since he first announced she would do a small part.
