The video for Beyonce's first release from the new material has been out only a few days and fans are already protesting against it. Columbia Records, the singer's record label, was handed in a petition asking her to shoot a new video for the 'Deja Vu' single.
Apparently, fans are not pleased with its quality, believing that it doesn't rise up to the level of her previous work.
Sources from the music industry say that the fans considered it 'an underwhelming representation of the talent and quality of previous music video projects of Ms Knowles'.
Even more, the petition said that 'the editing causes one to get dizzy and disoriented. The dancing is erratic, confusing and alarming. Her outfits are unbelievable and ridiculous'. Seriously? And when you think that she actually has a clothing line in production...
Beyonce's fans weren't pleased about her and her boyfriend's behavior, either. In the video, she and hit producer Jay Z are all over each other and their dancing routines are more than sexually explicit. 'The sexual themes between the duo are alarming and show unacceptable interactions between the two', the enraged fans say.
The artist hasn't made any comment yet on the way the world received her video. Maybe she's still in shock...
