14 DAY TRIAL // In light of recent events, Beyonce's fans are not really happy about the Carter family's friendship with the Kardashian – West couple. A Change.org petition was started with the purpose of preventing Beyonce from attending Kim Kardashian's wedding.
The petition, entitled “BEYONCE CANNOT ATTEND KIM KARDASHIAN'S WEDDING,” was created by John Barry, who is urging fans to sign and spread the word against Mrs. Carter attending Kim's wedding. In less than a week, the petition gathered more than 300 signatures.
Besides encouraging fans to stop Beyonce from going to the wedding, the petition also trashed the Kardashians saying, "Kim Kardashian and her disgusting family are known for their rise to fame for doing absolutely nothing.” When talking about the upcoming wedding, a lot of harsh words were used to describe both the Kardashian family and the rapper marrying Kim.
"We must do all in our power to stop Beyonce from attending the god forsaken wedding," the petition read.
Barry even offered some excuses that Beyonce could use to get out of the wedding, starting with her being busy with The Mrs. Carter Show or Blue Ivy getting sick and ending with “Beyonce you always have something better to do than to attend a Kim Kardashian wedding.”
After receiving 387 signatures, John Barry pulled it down saying that it was just for fun. “IT WAS A JOKE I DONT CARE IF BEYONCE GOES OR NOT SHE'S A GROWN WOMAN!! ALL OF YOUR REACTIONS HAVE BEEN FUN!! THANKS.”
For fun or not, the petition got enough attention from Queen B's fans. With the event being all over the news, fans are wondering if Beyonce is going to say anything about it.
Even if the petition had been carried through, it is difficult to believe that it would have influenced the “Irreplaceable” singer in any way. Besides her husband's close friendship with Kanye West, Beyonce has also been quite supportive of Kim, publicly congratulating her, both on being a mother and on getting engaged.
