Ever since last week, when the famous author announced that two main characters will die in the seventh part of 'Harry Potter' and hinted that she is considering
writing off Harry himself, fans from all over the world manifested their adverse reaction on various websites.
Although Rowling didn't specify precisely when and how Potter will meet his doom, fans took for granted that he will die and are appalled by the very idea. One aficionado wrote, quote, 'I truly feel that for Rowling to kill off any of the trio would reflect a callousness towards children I don't wish to contemplate', completely ignoring the fact that the author only
hinted that the main character may die.
Nevertheless, J.K stands by her point of view that, should she choose to kill the boy wizard, no other author will be able to write about him again, with or without her permission.
On the other hand, those who have already accepted their idol's forthcoming death are in the act of earning some money from it. More than a few websites have launched bets on who will be the person that will do the awful deed. Until now, the favorites of the race are Draco Malfoy, Professor Snaoe and Voldermont. There are some (more fond of taking chances) who placed their money on Harry's friend, Ron Weasley.
A spokesperson for the publishing house told everybody that, if Harry survives his seventh and final adventure, the money will be refunded up to the last penny.
