There’s a lot of processing power cooled by a single, simple heatsink

Although desktop AMD Trinity processors are still not available in the distribution channel and only big OEMs like HP or Acer can acquire them and shell out systems powered by them, there are smaller PC builders that are working on interesting designs.

Today we had the chance to take a quick look at an interesting design by SDS.

SDS is short for Splitted-Desktop Systems, which is a French computer manufacturer mainly specialized in low-power solutions for home and professional use. We’ve already presented here one of the systems presumably belonging to them.

Now, we only have a single picture and we have FanlessTech.com to thank for it, but at least we know fanless designs are already in the works from specialized professional system builders.

Of course, there’s not much heat to dissipate, since a 45-watt TDP is really quite modest, but if an A10-5800K processor should be desired, much more cooling and well-designed passive ventilation will be required.
