14 DAY TRIAL // Owners of Windows Phone devices can now download and install the official Fandango application once again, a few weeks after the software was removed from the Windows Phone Store.
Apparently, a series of bugs that prevented users from fully enjoying the features and capabilities of the app were the main reason for its being pulled, but things have returned to normal now.
At the moment, the software is up for grabs as version 1.6.0.0, with a series of usability enhancements packed inside, as well as with various bug fixes.
For those out of the loop, we should note that this application was designed to provide users with the possibility to easily find movies around them and buy tickets to shows.

The application comes with a GoNow feature that allows users to easily find movies playing within the hour in their area.
Furthermore, the software enables users to find movies playing in their local theaters, search using the app’s engine, browse alphabetically, or view “Opening This Week” and “Top Box Office” lists.
Fandango also comes with “Advance Tickets” and “Featured” lists, while being able to provide users with high-quality trailers, exclusive interviews and cast photos.
The software includes fan ratings and reviews as well, along with movie tweets and scores from Metacritic, in addition to enabling users to view the most accurate showtimes, MPAA ratings, synopses, run times, and director and cast lists.
With this application, users will also be able to find theaters (taking advantage of the phone’s GPS), to add theaters to a Favorites list for faster searching, and to pin favorite theaters for quick access.
Not to mention that Windows Phone users will also be able to buy tickets for 22,000+ screens and to pin the ticket confirmation to the home screen without launching the app.
