A fan in the UK has created a home-made Batmobile that can spew out fire. The fanatic of the DC Comics BatMan character has created a vehicle that can reach 60 mph (96 kph) in five seconds, which makes it an actual super-car.

Daily Mail reports that the Batmobile replica will be put up for auction in the Historics car event. The auction will take place in Weybridge, Surrey on November 30.

The vehicle was built on a custom chassis and fashioned after the one driven by Michael Keaton in the 1989 version of the BatMan movie.

A straight six, fuel-injected Jaguar 3.2-liter engine allows it to reach superhero speeds, in case the driver has to race to rescue a stranded kitten or stop villains. The car has been cleared for the road and it is equipped with an automatic transmission.
