14 DAY TRIAL // Kelly Brook, popular British glamor model and budding actress, has always been very open about where she stands as regards the size 0 trend in female stars. In a new interview, she makes it clear that she despises women who tell other women this is the way to go.
After branching out in acting and weighing her options for a career in showbiz, Kelly is now launching her own lingerie line.
Speaking of it in an interview with The Telegraph, Kelly says the only reason she decided to go through with the idea was knowing curvy women were often left without a good alternative.
“I've got curves. Most girls have curves, so that's who I design for,” she says. Kelly knows it's her curvy body that's made her popular with both men and women, and she finds it infuriating that other stars would tell women skinny is the way to go.
“I can't bear the fact that girls these days think you have to be thin to be beautiful and successful. I'm not thin,” Kelly explains.
Not only is she not thin, but she's also not constantly fretting over her body and fussing over calorie she ingests. On the contrary, she loves to eat and would never put herself through the pain of going on a diet.
“I don't starve myself. I don't look at my face and body and think I need surgery or a boob job or a bum lift,” Kelly says.
If only other female stars were more like her.
“It makes me very angry when women in the public eye talk about what work they've had done, because it makes other women feel devalued. They should just shut up about it! Sorry,” she says.
However, that's not to say that Kelly endorses an unhealthy way of living. In fact, she recently said that, while diets weren't her thing, she still made sure she made healthy choices and worked out a lot, as we also informed you at the time.
