14 DAY TRIAL // Sarah Klein, also known as Sparkly Devil, a well-known burlesque dancer from San Francisco, was killed in a bus-car crash in the early hours of Sunday. Her husband, who was driving, is at the hospital in critical condition.
The crash occurred on the 101 highway because the couple’s car stopped dead in traffic after he lost control of it and it swerved, turning towards oncoming traffic.
A bus packed with partygoers smashed into it and, because she wasn’t wearing her seatbelt, Klein was killed on the spot. Two other cars smashed in the back of the bus.
Reports say that 8 or 9 other people were also treated for injuries.
Reports indicate that Klein and the husband had been drinking earlier in the night but whether that had anything to do with the crash is yet to be determined.
