14 DAY TRIAL // Famke Janssen’s involvement in the new Wolverine movie, “The Wolverine,” wasn’t revealed until later into production, which meant that she repeatedly had to lie to people and say she wouldn’t be in it.
She’s sorry for that, she tells MTV News.
“I sincerely apologize, but I was sworn to secrecy. I had no choice but to lie. Don't ask me any more questions,” she says.
“The studio called me and said it's a big secret — and we want to keep it a secret. It was a lot of hurdles to go through but we went through all of them, swimmingly. I was even able to lie to you and many other people, which is terrible, because I'm not a liar,” the actress explains.
In the end, though, it was all worth the while because she got to revisit a character she loves, after so many years, and to be pleasantly surprised to find her a bit different than the last time she played her.
