The Internet says that Japanese Magazine Famitsu has had a go with Nintendo's upcoming low-gravity-Mario-in-space title, giving it a high 38/40 in their book. The magazine claims Super Mario Galaxy is "the game anyone can play", according to 1UP.com, who managed to provide a few excerpts from the review itself. Have a look below:

"The game takes place in a 3D space where you could be walking on the ground or upside down," confirms Famitsu. "Normally that would look like it is difficult to control, but you can play this instinctively. The balance is just perfect and it is a game anyone can really play."

"Gimmicks and actions using the game's unique gravity, and fun boss fights definitely delivers on the Mario name. It is even just fun to watch if you are not playing."

"The game's pacing is very good, you get hooked more and more." The reviewers gladly confirm that the Super Mario Galaxy is neither too easy, nor too difficult, while "collecting the star piece by pointing the Wiimote is already fun in itself. [...] The excitement of Mario 64 is back! Lots of features that are perfect for the Wii, and you get addicted wanting to know what kind of obstacles await you in the next stage. Difficulty gradually increases and the map layout is great. Every game fan should play this game."

According to an official press release some while ago, the game's storyline revolves around a creature that escapes into space with Princess Peach. Mario gives chase, exploring bizarre planets all across the galaxy. Characters present within the game are Mario, sweetheart Peach and enemies new and old.

Nintendo has previously confirmed that Japan's Wii gamers will be getting the title first, on November 1st, while North America's Wii Remote swingers will be getting their first chance to experience the title hands-on in their living rooms eleven days later, on November 12.
