At the end of August this year, we were telling you about two of Glu's new mobile games prepared for this fall, namely "The Price Is Right" and "Family Feud." The latter is now finally available, so that all mobile users who are also fans of the homonym TV show can enjoy it on their handsets.

Developed by Glu following a licensing agreement with FreemantleMedia (the company that owns the franchise), Family Feud the mobile game is faithful to the TV show, bringing features like: the Fast Money round, lots of questions (continuously updated, so you won't have to answer the same questions again), music and the freedom of creating your own character look, via the player designer application.

First aired way back in 1976 (in the US), Family Feud has become one of the most famous TV game shows, reaching more than 45 countries and about 1.5 million viewers per day.

"We are thrilled to join forces with FreemantleMedia Enterprises to bring Family Feud to mobile phones. We look forward to providing fans with a fun and engaging game that matches the excitement of the show they know and love," stated Jill Braff, senior vice president of Global Publishing at Glu.

Olivier Delfosse, director of Interactive Licensing and New Media for FME (FreemantleMedia Enterprises), North America, added, "Glu has a history of demonstrated success bringing world-class brands to the mobile platform. And now, the Glu team has brought Family Feud to life through an unmatched, quality gameplay. We are excited to provide loyal fans with a mobile game so that they can now experience one of their favorite shows anywhere they go."

For the moment, Glu's Family Feud is available only in North America, via all the major mobile carriers: AT&T, Verizon, Sprint, T-Mobile, Alltel and so on. To get the game, visit Glu's official site at this address.
