Earlier this month, Lavere Douglas-Lee Bryant, a former employee of a Family Dollar store in Dearborn, Michigan, killed two 20-year-olds and then proceeded to get rid of the evidence. He was arrested this week and just charged with 2 counts of first-degree murder.
Above is a video report from Fox News.
It highlights that Bryant had a very impressive rap sheet, mostly for extremely violent crimes, including assault and severe bodily harm less than murder. He is described as a “problem inmate” by supervisors at the centers where he served time behind bars.
The store wouldn’t say how they hired him given his record.
He returned to the store this month, killed one employee and then robbed the place. He took another employee with him, this time a female, and dumped her body after he killed her.
He was arrested days later.
Bryant has been charged with 6 additional counts in connection to the crime and is currently being held without bail.
