14 DAY TRIAL // A couple from Stuttgart, Arkansas have reeled in massive earnings on their latest fishing trip. They have bought one lottery ticket while they were traveling to Greers Ferry Lake for fishing, and have acquired a second one on their way back.
As it happens, both were winners and Stephen and Terri Weaver made $1 million (€740,000) on one ticket alone. The second one won them an extra $50,000 (€37,000) on Monday, February 4.
According to Arkansas News, the couple has stopped at the exact same place to buy both lotto tickets – a T-Ricks convenience store in Pangburn.
As they claimed their prizes and posed for a photo op at Arkansas Scholarship Lottery’s claim center in Little Rock, they described that they would be using the money for bills and retirement.
