Fallout: New Vegas is plagued by quite a lot of bugs and glitches, some hilarious while others a bit more serious, and Bethesda, the game's publisher, has just revealed that after yesterday's release of a quick patch for the PC, the update will soon appear for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

Fallout: New Vegas is the latest title in the post apocalyptic role playing game franchise, this time taking its action to New Vegas, a derelict version of the current Las Vegas.

Being based on the Bethesda's already aging Gamebryo engine, a lot of glitches have been popping up around the web and on YouTube, despite the fact that the developer, Obsidian Studios, tried to smooth out all of the bugs that were in the previous Fallout 3.

As we showed you yesterday, there have been quite a lot of glitches, and Bethesda acted quickly, so an update is already available on Steam for those that purchased the game for the PC as a digital download.

Now, the company has issued a statement for console owners, saying that a patch for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions of Fallout: New Vegas will be launched soon.

"We have just released an automatic update for the PC version of Fallout: New Vegas that resolves quest and scripting issues," revealed a Bethesda representative.

"We're working hard to make this update available for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions of the game as soon as possible and will let you know as soon as we have the dates they'll be up."

The rep also revealed a few pieces of advice for PlayStation 3 owners of the game that experienced problems with getting their digital pre-order bonuses to appear.

"The issue regarding the PlayStation 3 digital pre-order bonuses has also been resolved. Users should attempt to re-enter the codes to download their bonuses. Should the "80023156" error continue, we ask that players wait 24 hours before entering the code again. The code should then activate the bonus without any issue."

We've already received quite a lot of comments yesterday regarding bugs in the console versions, so feel free to continue posting the different bugs you encounter in Fallout: New Vegas in the comment section below.
