Fallout: New Vegas, the recent role playing game from Obsidian Entertainment and Bethesda, will be getting a new downloadable add-on in the form of Old World Blues, the third adventure pack for the popular title.

Fallout: New Vegas was released last year and impressed quite a lot of people through its intricate story, fresh innovations in terms of gameplay over Fallout 3, but had its fair share of major bugs, some hilarious, some game-breaking.

This didn't stop many players from spending 50+ hours with the RPG, as well as with its two recent add-ons, Dead Money and Honest Hearts.

Now, the third DLC, called Old World Blues, has received a few more details from Bethesda, as well as a concrete release date.

Bethesda detailed the upcoming add-ons for New Vegas back in May, before releasing Honest Hearts, confirming that it will be joined by Old World Blues next month, and Lonesome Road after that.

"You will discover how some of the Mojave's mutated monsters came to be when you unwittingly become a lab rat in a science experiment gone awry," reads the description of the Old World Blues DLC. "You'll need to scour the Pre-War research centres of the Big Empty in search of technology to turn the tables on your kidnappers or join forces with them against an even greater threat."

The add-on will be released for Fallout: New Vegas on the PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 platforms, on July 19.

An update will be deployed before the release of the add-on, which brings support for the DLC as well as fixes for certain issues and glitches.

Bethesda released three screenshots of Old World Blues, which you can check out below, and promises that a trailer for it will be launched next week.
