Fallout: New Vegas is set to receive its fourth piece of downloadable content in the form of Lonesome Road tomorrow, September 20, with Bethesda, the game's publisher, and Obsidian Entertainment, its developer, bringing a new set of adventures for players of the post apocalyptic role playing game.

Fallout: New Vegas impressed a lot of people last year, when Obsidian delivered a quality first person shooter RPG that told a sprawling story set in the Mojave Wasteland of the Fallout universe. Since then, a variety of downloadable add-ons were released, in the form of Dead Money, Honest Hearts, and Old World Blues.

Now, the fourth and final DLC for New Vegas, Lonesome Road, is scheduled to appear for the role playing game, seemingly bringing a conclusion to the adventures of the protagonist, The Courier, in the post apocalyptic title.

Before the release of the add-on tomorrow, Bethesda has now posted a fresh trailer detailing some of the things you'll be able to do and some of the new enemies you'll encounter in the add-on.

It seems that Ulysses, the courier that started the adventures of the player in New Vegas by declining to deliver the crucial package, has quite a big plan in the canyons of the Divide, a landscape torn apart by the nuclear war that ravaged North America at the beginning of the Fallout universe.

Lots of new enemies and creatures are portrayed, from small mutations to fierce raiders, and it's going to take a lot of weapons and firepower to withstand their assault and get to Ulysses.

For an official description, check out the one from Bethesda itself, accompanying the video below.

"In Lonesome Road you are contacted by the original Courier Six, a man by the name of Ulysses who refused to deliver the Platinum Chip at the start of Fallout: New Vegas. Ulysses promises the answer as to why he didn’t take the job, but only if you make one last journey into the hurricane-swept canyons of the Divide, a landscape torn apart by earthquakes and violent storms. It’s up to you whether you take the job or not."

Fallout: New Vegas gets the Lonesome Road DLC next week on the PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 platforms, available for purchase on digital distribution services for $9.99. Until then, check out the video below.
