The Fallout 4 teaser website set up several weeks ago that's been constantly sharing Morse code messages about the future post-apocalyptic RPG has ended prematurely, ahead of its countdown, and revealed to be a very elaborate hoax.

Fallout 4 has been rumored for quite some time, especially since Bethesda confirmed that it's now working on its next big project inside the studio.

Things really got interesting a few weeks ago when a teaser website called TheSurvivor2299 appeared, hosting several countdowns and various Morse code messages referencing possible locations from Fallout 4, like Vault 119 or The Institute.

Now, the website has been updated one more time and its creator has confirmed that it was just an elaborate hoax.

No actual reason was given for this fake website other than to see what the community will do with it.

Until the official confirmation for Fallout 4, fans will have to keep on waiting for a Bethesda announcement.
