Emails that purport to come from a “Customer Service Center” are being sent out by cybercriminals in an effort to distribute a piece of malware.

The emails read something like this:

“Hello, Customer We have got your order and we will process it for 3 days. You can find specification of the order: [Link] Best regards Customer Service Center”

According to Hoax Slayer, the link doesn’t point to a document, but to a zip file that hides a piece of malware.

If you’re a victim of this scam, scan your computer with an updated antivirus program. Also, make sure all the software that’s installed on your computer is up to date.

It’s worth noting that this is not the only version of this malware attack. In some cases, the emails might claim to come from a “Client Management Department.”
