A new Call of Duty game is going to appear this year and scammers have already started preying on unsuspecting fans of the series by setting up a website that promises people a code for a Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 beta stage in exchange for liking and sharing messages on Facebook.

Activision has confirmed recently that it is going to release a new Call of Duty game and many are already suspecting that the title will be Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4.

Now, in order to trick unsuspecting fans, a website called the "Social Network 4 Gamers" has set up another page on which it promises people download codes for the supposed Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 beta stage.

All fans need to do is like their page on Facebook and share a message promoting the beta giveaway on the pages of other games.

As you can imagine, this is just a scam and the codes delivered in the end don't work, according to Fusible.

Bear in mind that the next Call of Duty game hasn't even been confirmed so don't fall for any cheap tricks and fake websites.
