If your car breaks down in traffic and you have a bus in front of you, never try to do what you see in the video included above.

The clip was filmed on Monday in St. Petersburg and shows two men’s attempt to get a tow from a trolleybus, after their car broke down. At first, their attempt appears to be really inventive and opportunistic, but it ends up in an epic fail.

As you can see, the trolleybus pulls up in front of the car and picks up passengers. A man quickly drags his car using a long rope and ties it to the back of the public transport vehicle.

Within seconds, the bus drives off and picks up speed, and neither of the two men is able to get into the black car. The vehicle moves forward in a straight line and it smashes into the back of a parked taxi.

Probably if the driver had managed to get behind the wheel to steer it, the accident wouldn’t have happened and his car would have followed the trolleybus.

As if the crash wasn’t enough of a problem, a traffic police car arrives at the scene in a matter of seconds.

Maybe these Russian men learned a lesson: cars are easier to steer if you are behind the wheel.
