Adobe’s system requirements for Photoshop CC are pretty inaccurate

You’ve probably heard already that Adobe is moving the famous Photoshop suite to the cloud, but here’s something that’s pretty interesting.

In order to be able to launch Photoshop CC on your computer, you need to be running either Windows 7 Service Pack 2 or Windows 8 with Service Pack 1, both of which are more or less inexistent products.

The second service pack for Windows 7 has been reportedly canceled, so users currently running the world’s number one operating system have no other choice than to stick to Service Pack 1 or move to Windows 8.

As far as Windows 8 is concerned, there’s no Service Pack 1 available right now and no such update will be released anytime soon.

Instead, Microsoft will debut Windows 8.1 Preview in just a few days, and given the fact that it comprises so many improvements, it could very well be considered a service pack per se.
