We reported last week about a possible sequel to Indigo Prophecy that developer Quantum Dream might announce on January 29. There's also a dedicated website that teases a reveal for that date, which points to an Indigo Prophecy related game.

The website has some of the words from the Indigo Prophecy's tagline scrawled on the background, which is why we thought Quantum Dream is going to announce a sequel to one of the best action psychological thriller games ever made, or a remastered edition.

It turns out that it's the latter, as the game has just appeared on Amazon, along with a release date and a price attached to it.

According to the listing on Amazon, Indigo Prophecy Remastered will be available on Steam beginning January 29 for just $9.99 (€9.99).

For many who don't know, the game was released in North America as Indigo Prophecy and some of the scenes have been censored or cut out entirely from the game.

The European version was released as Fahrenheit and did not have anything missing from the original game. Well, it looks like the Steam version will be released with all its scenes and no censorship at all.

The information is confirmed in the game's description on Amazon: “the newly remastered edition features updated graphics, full controller support and is based on the uncut/uncensored international version of the game.”

The game will feature HD graphics and full controller support

Fahrenheit: Indigo Prophecy Remastered is the definitive version of the supernatural murder mystery and is meant to (re)introduce the amazing title to old and new fans alike.

Those who already enjoyed the game when it was released back in September 2005 will find some of the upgrades welcomed and might want to pick this one up again.

Developer Quantum Dream claims the game will feature high-definition graphics with all of the in-game textures having been recreated in HD for mobile and desktop (that points to a mobile release as well).

Last but not least, there will be full controller support (including Sony and Microsoft controllers for desktop platforms), live graphics comparison, which means players will be able to switch between the updated visuals and the original art assets with the touch of a button.
