Mountain View-based Internet giant Google has made available for download new factory images and binaries for the Nexus 4 and Galaxy Nexus smartphones, based on the JWR66Y update.

The new software release has been pushed to these devices worldwide over the past few days as a small, 2MB download, meant at resolving some bugs inside them, it seems.

At the moment, the JWR66Y factory images and binaries are available for both yakju and takju variants of the Galaxy Nexus, as well as for the Nexus 4 occam alongside the JDQ39 files that have been made available several weeks ago.

Those who would like to download the new images should head over to this page on Google’s support website for that. The driver binaries are available via this link. As Android Police notes, Google has also released developer changelogs for these files, available here.
